Virtual Design and Construction
Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) is a crucial aspect of any project from preconstruction to the finished product. The ability to collaborate with our clients, designers, trade partners, and project team throughout the timeline of the project holds tremendous value and allows for a dramatic increase in efficiency while simultaneously decreasing the margin of error.
Our in-house VDC coordinator works closely with the Project Team to effectively utilize the ever-increasing capabilities of digital modeling across various stages of the project to ensure safety, quality and production of the highest degree. One of many benefits of MBC having an in-house VDC coordinator includes clash detection which, in addition to minimizing reworks, reduces risk and construction cost. Also a plus, we offer coordinated model generation, which facilitates seamless communication across all parties involved in the project.
Safety Above All Else
At MBC, we take safety seriously. Nothing is more important than protecting the safety, health, and well-being of our employees and the people who surround our projects – trade partners, owners, visitors, end users and the public.
Our safety goal is zero injuries and no lost time accidents. We take pride in our regional network of certified trade partners who are pre-qualified and hold exceptional safety ratings. Site-Specific Safety Plans are created for each trade and address the unique aspects of each project.
MBC’s Safety Program teaches employees and trade partners to take action to protect themselves and others, correct potentially unsafe behaviors, and embrace a mindset of proactively choosing to follow critical safety rules. The program includes a full range of ongoing initiatives, including safety orientation trainings for onsite workers, monthly continuing education sessions, weekly toolbox meetings, and monthly safety audits.
“I want to let you know that I am absolutely blown away by how spectacular this property has turned out. Thank you to the MBC team for an extraordinary job at our hotel!“
