MLB Legacy and Phillies Charities honor Tree House Books during All-Stars Week this summer

MBC is helping bring the next chapter of Tree House Books to life in North Philadelphia, combining two existing row homes into one expanded library and literacy center with more room for books, programs, young readers, and the community Tree House has served for nearly two decades.

Earlier this summer, the project stepped into the big leagues as part of Major League Baseball and Phillies Charities’ All-Star Legacy efforts, including the new Literacy Clubhouse area honoring Ryan and Krystle Howard. If you were watching along this summer at the stadium or at home (Go Phils!) and thought you spotted a few familiar MBC hard hats...well, you did!

Seeing our work get some major league screen time is certainly a fun bonus, but we’re even happier to be the team on the ground building it.
