Maguire Residence

The Maguire Residence provides 50,000 sq. ft. of affordable, permanent supportive housing options for people who have experienced homelessness and are dedicated to recovery. The project was awarded the Grand Jury award by the Preservation Alliance of Philadelphia. This adaptive re-use project highlights 42 rental apartments as well as a new 1,200 sq. ft. entry lobby addition. Space is carved out for management & administrative offices as well as residential support spaces such as laundry and fitness rooms. The project achieved Enterprise Green Communities certification by the use of robust thermal & air control assemblies, ultra-high-efficiency heating & cooling systems, LED lighting, and water-conserving plumbing fixtures.
