Sneak Peek of Final Photos from Kinder Park Phase IV over in Woodlyn, PA!
It doesn’t feel it was long ago we humbly announced we would build the Kinder Park Phase IV project and now it’s time to show just how far we’ve come with a look at some final photos. 🤩🎉🤩 The new 6-story residential retirement building now proudly offers 96 additional units for seniors to call their homes. Equipped with several amenities such as a community room, dining & fitness facilities, and on-grade parking, this impactful space provides seniors and individuals with disabilities the opportunity for independent living. A huge round of applause to our entire MBC team onsite for your hard work getting this project over the finish line. 🥳🥇🥳 Thank you to the crucial and generous partnerships of Pennrose Properties, WRT Design, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA), and every single trade partner that worked diligently each and every day - come rain or shine! Batman (the MBC Drone) takes flight over the 400 West Elm site in Conshohocken for Flyby Friday
The chill in the air reminds us that fall is here and it’s time to let Batman, the Drone, out to spread his “wings”. 🦇📸🦇 For today’s Flyby Friday, Batman swooped over the 400 W. Elm jobsite in West Conshohocken to take a peek at the progress. The 445,000+ square foot 348-unit ultra-luxury residential apartment complex is well under way! Steel is about fully erected and precast planking is allmmooost done on 10 floors of the 13 story building. Exterior panels, interior layouts and MEP rough-in has officially started on floors 1-3 with more incredible work yet to come. 🙌 Batman is looking forward to sharing more progress at this tremendous site soon – and we are too! Maybe even a glimpse of steel topping off in our future?!? 😏🏗😏

McDonald Building Company is proud to share the FINAL photos of the Trinity Health PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) project at Kinder Park. 🤩🙌🤩 The Trinity PACE Program offers seniors the ability and support needed to live independently. Our work included 14,000+ square feet of a new reception area, exam rooms, offices, a PT suite, and support spaces. It’s always a bittersweet day at MBC when we say goodbye to our co-ops and interns. 😭😌😭 MBC was thrilled to have Julia Eustace and Gia Hunt part of the MBC family this summer as these strong ladies served as a tremendous resource at the 400 W. Elm jobsite. Julia assisted the field in foundations/steel/plank production tracking and daily reports while Gia followed certain trades from the engineering side, coordinated interior finishes and assisted with the Building Envelope. Both determined women with a bright future in our industry. 👷♀️💪👷♀️Take a peek at what our APM and PM onsite wanted to share…⬇️

Crane Day at the Philadelphia Building for Roof Top Unit Replacements!
Things are looking UP at 1315 Walnut Street’s Philadelphia Building with a crane onsite for the past two weekends. 🏗🙌🏗 Out with the old and in with the new! Steel was craned and set to prep for the replacement of the exterior mechanical units last weekend. To finish July out strong, the early bird really did get the worm...a 5am street closure meant the crane was assembled and ready to roll by 6:45am. A total of 24 roof top units were set in just 2.75 hours. 💪😳💪 We're big on efficiency at MBC, but it's always S-Q-P for us - Safety, then Quality, then Production. All in all when the job is complete, MBC will have replaced just about 100 units (interior/exterior) for all 19 floors. We love Crane Day @ MBC! 👷♂️😍👷♀️

In-TENTS competition commences during SQP's team building activity all about Site Utilization Program
This past week, MBC took on the challenge of pitching camping tents before our monthly SQP education training...some needed instructions and some relied on prior experience to build their tent the quickest (and pass a quality check!). 👷♀️✅👷♂️ Our best scouts came to win, and things got pretty in-TENTS ⛺️ quickly! Tent building proved to be the perfect activity to get our staff in the right mindset for the upcoming training on Site Utilization Program or "SUP". A sturdy well built tent is like a good SUP - there's clear instructions to lay the groundwork for a successful build. Now that's what SUP with Team Building at MBC...😂😅😂 Congrats to our winning team - Regina, Sharon, Gia, Brad, and Jack. 🏆 Our superintendent Adam was one of the winners of the tent giveaway, you camp say he's knot excited! MBC is Virginia Bound! Tremendous progress at aka Alexandria Hotel in Old Town Neighborhood
We are packing our bags and heading down to Alexandria, Virginia to feature another exciting renovation we're building. 🧳🤩🧳 Hotel AKA Alexandria is turning a former Holiday Inn in Old Town and giving it a major update. Not far from DC, this 28,800 square foot renovation will include luxury amenities such as a new lobby, lounge, bar, meeting spaces, and a fitness center for guests to enjoy. MBC is making noticeable progress on the exterior so far, thanks to M&N Masonry Staining and their brick staining work to modernize the brick façade. 🧱😍🧱 While the project is expected to complete this winter, there are still more updates to come. Today’s Timelapse Tuesday features our 400 West Elm project in West Conshohocken. 👷♀️🙌👷♂️ This up-and-coming 348-unit apartment complex will be filled with luxury amenities… residents will get to enjoy concierge-level services including a clubhouse & fitness center, private office suites, an outdoor courtyard, pet grooming services, a pool deck, and much more…all with some stunning views of Conshy and the Schuylkill River Waterfront! 🤩👏🤩 The 226-spot triple-level precast parking structure is now complete, sitework continues and steel erection has just begun on the main highrise. Construction is slated to complete in the Fall of 2023.
